The Bus went out of control and slipped out of the snow-covered bridge in South China, killing at least 18 people and wounding 37, State media reported Thursday.
Overloaded Bus carrying 57 people when it crashed in Guizhou province Wednesday evening, Xinhua News Agency said. It has to travel from Central Anhui province when it crashed off a bridge into a valley of 30 feet (10 meters) below.
The accident followed the deaths of 13 people on Tuesday in the central province of Hunan, where a truck crossing the highway divider and head-on collided with a bus traveling in the opposite direction. Separate truck bus collision in southwestern Yunnan province on Wednesday, killing eight people and wounding 13, Xinhua said Thursday.
The accident came at the start of the annual Chinese new year travel crisis, where millions of people who are traveling by plane, train and bus to visit family. The holiday this year falls on January 23rd.
